About Me
Hi! I'm Adhora! I'm a freelance artist based in Dessau, Germany. I do concept art, illustration and comics. I am mostly self-taught, with some formal training.
I started working in the local Comic book industry in 2022. I have since worked with studios like Dhaka Comics and Cartoon People. So far I have penned and illustrated three solo comics for three anthology projects. I also had the honor of working with National Curriculum & Textbook Board of Bangladesh.
Born and raised in Dhaka, a city of drama, myths and memoirs, I have always been drawn to stories and try to incorporate local motifs in my work. I study heritage and the history of art and architecture, which has been lately influencing my style. I'm currently working on a TTRPG based on medieval Bengal. Someday I wish to publish my own graphic novel.
